MoveWise
Biomechanical Certification
Cutting-edge Biomechanics Meet Healing Principles of Yoga Therapy.
How you stand out with our circle yoga method
With the Circle Yoga Method, you don’t just learn techniques—you become a specialist.
Our MoveWise Biomechanical Certification equips you with the rare ability to see movement patterns clearly, assess them with precision, and guide transformation with confidence.
Our Method is founded on:
🪶 Patterns, not parts: We identify and correct whole-body movement patterns rather than isolating individual body parts.
🪶 Functional and developmental lens: Movement is analyzed through the lens of human development and functional patterns to restore efficiency and resilience.
🪶 Whole “movement diet”: We consider all daily movements (or lack thereof) that shape the body over time, and aim to create balance and variety in that movement “diet.”
🪶 Correction ≠ “working out”: Corrective work targets asymmetries and dysfunction, distinct from general strength or endurance training that simply fatigue to grow muscle.
🪶 Intelligent approach to pain: We don’t ignore pain—but we also work with it thoughtfully, knowing when to challenge and when to support the nervous system.
🪶 Individuality matters: Corrective strategies must be made unique to each person, informed by their movement history, past injuries, as well as their goals and aspirations.
🪶 Holistic approach — “as above, so below”: We know that working with the physical body also influences lifestyle habits, emotional patterns, and deeper imbalances.
Who is THIS For?
The MoveWise Certification is designed for anyone who is fascinated by human resilience and is seeking to specialize in whole-body thriving.
It’s for you if:
🪷 You’re a yoga teacher who has felt frustrated hearing a student says, “This pose hurts,” because you don’t feel fully equipped to assess or respond with confidence.

🪷 You’re working with clients with limited mobility—those who struggle to get up and down from the floor—and you want to help restore their independence and quality of life.
🪷 You’re leading group classes and feel ready to expand into private client work—offering personalized assessments, corrective strategies, and higher-value services that set you apart.

Certification content
Intensive 1 establishes the basis for all biomechanical assessment—criteria and methods that reveal asymmetries, compensations, and hidden imbalances. We also explore how and where to assess pain, as well as how to recognize postural patterns held by the fascia. By the end of the intensive, you’ll be fully equipped to go back into your community and start practicing assessments.
Intensive 2 dives into analysis and application. You’ll learn to correlate intake and assessment data and identify where to begin correction. You’ll be shown how to target different systems with your corrective strategies, along with methods for designing personalized corrective home practices. By the end, you’ll have the tools to start making corrective interventions on your own.

“I waited 20 years to find a school that taught me what the Shala taught. I wanted the real deal. I wanted to learn more than asana and anatomy, I wanted the why and how. They delivered! Worth every penny. Deeply grateful.”
— Darla
“MoveWise builds on the 300 hour YTT program very well but it was also accessible for my classmates who trained elsewhere. The program was rich with useful material and and delivered in a thoughtful and intelligent way. Highly recommend!”
