Self-Inquiry: Returning to What’s True
Your mind is brilliant—but it’s not always truthful. Especially in emotionally charged moments, it distorts memories, edits out details, and divides life into “good” and “bad.” What results isn’t the whole truth, but a partial truth—and from partial truths, unnecessary suffering arises.
The practice of self-inquiry invites us to pause, turn toward the mind with curiosity, and ask a simple question: “Is this true?” In that moment, something shifts. We remember that we are not limited to the stories our mind tells. We are also the awareness that holds them.
