Payments and Refunds

Deposit

🪶 A $445 deposit saves your spot, which it cannot be refunded or applied toward another course, cohort, or another person’s payments.

🪶 Early bird discount of $200 available if paid at least 45 days before the start of the training.

The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Tuition Payment Schedule

🪶 In addition to the deposit, you’ll be invited to complete:

  • A ‘one and done’ payment of $3,050 OR

  • Four (4) payments of $838.75 per intensive that will take place at least 15 days before each intensive.

You will be suspended from the program if you don’t fulfill your financial obligations.

Refunds

🪶 Your payment is 100% refundable if you make a request 16 days (or more) before the program start.

🪶 Your payment is non-refundable 15 days (or less) before the program start.

In the case of an event that moves the Intensive from ‘in person’ to being ‘online’, a small credit will be issued to the students. The credit will be valid for 3 months on select Shala experiences at the discretion of the staff.

Other Fees

🪶 Students may incur financial obligations for teaching arrangements outside of the designated curriculum and policies. Our fees are as follows:

  • Private sessions with a lead trainer ($150/hour)

  • Deferral (see below) or re-taking an intensive (50% tuition for that intensive plus accommodations)

  • Additional hardcopies of your certificate ($10/copy)

  • Transfer from an Affiliate Program (30% tuition plus accommodations)

Deferral and Withdrawal

Deferral Policy

🪶 You may request to defer your training to the following year if you cannot complete the designated classroom time and/or the associated assignments. There is a $200 deferral fee, due within 15 days of your deferral approval.

  • If your deferral request is 16 days or more before the next intensive, your payment for that intensive will be carried over to next year.

  • If your deferral request is 15 days or less before the next intensive, you must still complete your ‘per intensive’ payment, which will be applied to next year’s attendance.

Your deferral fee covers your attendance for any portions of the training that you haven’t yet attended.

Should you want to re-attend an intensive, you will owe 50% tuition for that intensive plus accommodations.

You can only defer once, so that you complete all classroom time and assignments within a maximum of 2 calendar years.

Withdrawal Policy

🪶 To withdraw from the program, please notify us in writing, including the reason for withdrawal. In such case:

  • The withdrawal will be effective immediately.

  • The student will lose access to the Training Hub.

  • There are no refunds.

Cancellation Policy

🪶 In the unlikely event of a course cancellation due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel a training up to seven (7) business days prior to the start date.

Please note that some intensives have pre-determined “make-up” dates in case of cancellation due to weather. We rarely ever need to use the make-up dates, but you are responsible to keep these dates open.

Graduation Requirements and Code of COnduct

Graduation Policy

🪶 To graduate from the Advanced 300hr YTT, you must:

  • Attend all classroom time.

  • Meet all financial obligations.

  • Complete all assignments.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the material taught.

Upon completion of the program, a certificate will be provided to you.

If students miss 6 hours or more of an intensive, they must retake the intensive the following year and cover all costs associated with that.

If students miss less than 6 hours of an intensive, they can make up that time in private sessions with a lead trainer; additional costs apply.

Code of Conduct

We expect that students:

  • Turn off cell phones during class.

  • Dress and behave in a professional and ethical manner.

  • Be respectful of trainers, staff, other students, and school property.

  • Arrive on time and fully prepared with assignments, reading and writing materials, and appropriate gear.

  • Fulfill financial and time commitments to the program.

  • Do not enter the teaching space intoxicated.

  • Wear no prominent scents or cologne/perfume, along with proper hygiene.

  • Dress in a manner appropriate for the practice and instruction of yoga.

Students failing to comply will be dismissed from class with an opportunity to return when in compliance. If non-compliance continues, the student will be asked to leave the property and the program. No refunds will be given.
