Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training
Circle Yoga Shala is pleased to host Alexandria Pulfer and Yoga Deza's 85HR YA Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training
Spend a week immersed in women’s studies at the serene Circle Yoga Shala in Jasper, AR and complete your 85hr YA Prenatal Yoga Teacher registry May 23rd-28th, 2018. This program is designed for existing yoga teachers, birth professionals, expectant mothers and anyone with a desire to learn more about the innate and powerful female body.
Throughout the week we will look at the feminine expression of mind, body and spirit and learn ways to support all stages of life with asana, pranayama, meditation and traditional principles of both Yoga and Ayurveda.
You will learn to sequence and teach prenatal group practices (and modifying public classes) as well the skills needed to assess and support at the individual level. From menstruation difficulties to labor recovery and menopause, learn the key challenges that many women face and how yoga can help. While arguably the most natural and instinctual process for mankind, the support that women need from their communities to travel through the journey of motherhood is vast. Prenatal yoga is a highly sought after specialty that can allow you to support future and current mothers in much needed ways.
The most valuable part of your time in this training may very well be your own personal development. Diving into these studies can be a very healing experience for women and the spirit of sisterhood cultivated throughout the program will fill a special place in your heart for a lifetime. Equally matched with these benefits will be the subtle yet profound ease one can find at the Shala through a week of intentional self care and mindful living.
To receive your certificate for YA registry, expect to 20hrs of homework including online learning and practice teaching to be completed following the retreat. This can be done on your own time up to six months after program completion.
